SATURDAY, JUNE 25, 2005
9:15 a.m.: 5K start. 9:30 a.m.: 10K start at North Rim Trail in Upper Bidwell Park, Chico.

OUTLAW 10K TRAIL RUN & 5K RUN/WALK
Sponsored by Team Sports to promote healthy outdoor activities which utilize our wonderful, natural Bidwell Park and provide an event that is challenging for children, adults and families alike!

COURSE: The 10K starts at North Rim Trail and proceeds around Horseshoe Lake to Middle Trail, and continues to Bear Hole. From Bear Hole, the runners descend on the hard pack dirt road, continuing to Horseshoe Lake onto the paved park road, crossing the foot bridge into 5 Mile Park. The 5K is similar. It turns onto the park road about a 1/2 mile past Horseshoe Lake.

This is a challenging run. To complete the race you will need to be prepared and focused. The trail is a mixture of narrow and wide paths, loose rock, exposed lava rock, roots, and many natural hazards. Please race in appropriate shoes!
